About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Subsea Engineer to join their offshore operations team, based near Plymouth . This role is integral to the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea production systems and infrastructure. You will contribute to project engineering, ensuring the integrity and performance of subsea equipment in challenging marine environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of subsea hardware, flow assurance, and installation procedures. This position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge offshore projects in a hybrid model, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and specification of subsea equipment , including trees, manifolds, and pipelines.
- Develop installation procedures and oversee subsea construction and commissioning activities.
- Perform flow assurance analyses to ensure efficient hydrocarbon production.
- Conduct integrity assessments and manage maintenance strategies for subsea assets.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Offshore Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in subsea engineering , with a focus on production systems.
- Strong understanding of subsea hardware, umbilical systems, and riser technology.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations for offshore operations.
- Experience with relevant engineering software and simulation tools.
