About the Role
Our client, a key player in the subsea segment of the Oil & Gas industry , is seeking a skilled Subsea Engineer to join their technical team based in Portsmouth . This role focuses on the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of subsea production systems, including pipelines, manifolds, and structures. You will work on challenging projects, contributing technical expertise to ensure the integrity and performance of subsea assets. Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify subsea equipment, including pipelines, risers, and xmas trees.
- Perform engineering analysis for subsea systems, ensuring structural integrity and functionality.
- Develop installation procedures and supervise offshore subsea operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to subsea equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams, fabricators, and installation contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., DNV, API).
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Offshore Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
- Proficiency in relevant subsea engineering software and design tools.
- Strong understanding of subsea pipeline design, installation, and integrity management.
- Experience with ROV operations and subsea intervention techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage project tasks.
