About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly competent Subsea Engineer to join their innovative team based in Bristol . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site collaboration and remote work, focusing on the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea systems for the energy sector . You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing subsea production systems, pipelines, and equipment, ensuring operational integrity and efficiency. Your expertise will be vital in supporting offshore operations and contributing to the successful execution of complex subsea projects from conceptual design through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, specify, and analyze subsea equipment, including xmas trees, manifolds, risers, and pipelines.
- Develop installation procedures and oversee execution for subsea field developments.
- Conduct engineering studies, risk assessments, and integrity management for subsea assets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, geoscientists, and fabrication contractors.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations relevant to subsea operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to subsea system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in subsea engineering, preferably within the oil and gas or renewable energy sectors.
- Proficiency in relevant subsea design and analysis software.
- Strong understanding of subsea hardware, installation methods, and operational challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a hybrid work environment.
